The following is my processing and recording some of what I learned during my Christmas travels.
Some of the traditions I encountered whilst in Japan for New Year’s (shogatsu).
Featuring pineapple man, toilet slippers and dust boxes!
Some photos of what I ate during my adventures. By no means exhaustive because I ate way too many things for that. Featuring crab brains, pig’s feet and octopus crackers. Enjoy!
10 wonderful days of adventure, friends, a chopsticks crash-course, and welcoming 2017 in with style. Mt. Fuji, unexpected singing solos, paddling in the Pacific Ocean and so much more that cannot even be put into words.
Yesterday my job at Pembroke College came to an end and I said goodbye to some very special people, who are owed some thank yous. Thankfully, the goodbyes we said yesterday are goodbyes for now, and not goodbyes forever. ^.^
