Blood of Our Children

On Saturday I was part of another Extinction Rebellion action called ‘Blood of Our Children’.

Outside Downing Street, we dressed in black, and protesters willing to get arrested symbolically poured fake blood to draw attention to the loss of life which will result from rising global temperatures.

I had the privilege of speaking on Saturday, and being alongside other members of Christian Climate Action (CCA).

It has been very moving seeing the Christian involvement in XR. Earlier this week a video of Phil from CCA was posted by XR which can be viewed on YouTube, along with another video message from former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, and footage of the Blood of Our Children event (watch out for me if you can).

I’m looking forward to what is to come.
